Pine Island Press

Pine Island Press is a publishing project founded and organized by Helen Jones that works with image-based artists to publish exciting new works using a variety of printing methods; started as a way of proliferating previously unpublished work in a financially sustainable way PIP has worked closely with artists to make collaborative publications as well as PIP’s long-running periodical, Incandescent. Incandescent has featured over 350 photographers from 50 countries worldwide. Sarah LaPonte is a frequent Pine Island Press collaborator, a long-time zine and printmaker, and the not-so-secret creator of the Irregular Once-A-Month.
