The annual PABF is a free annual event dedicated to printed matter featuring local, national, and international exhibitors. Meet artists, publishers, and other art book enthusiasts while browsing participating vendors and shopping an incredible range of artist books, zines, and publications.

higu rose

higu rose is an illustrator, cartoonist, painter, and local terror living in Pittsburgh, PA. inspired by the aesthetics of Japanese shoujo and BL manga, higu paints with rich colors and creates ink illustrations that feature intricate linework. higu self-published over 10 autobio and fiction graphic novels that focus on the experiences of being black and queer. higu's autobiographical graphic novel TITTYCHOP BOOBSLASH has been called "the best trans comic" of 2017. higu is currently working on YINZ CITY, a graphic novel series about a group of queer and trans people of color. higu work's in mediums such as paint, ink, fiber, and printmaking.
