Pegacorn Press is a feminist, queer, "total-art-freaker" publishing adventure run solely by Caroline Kern (AKA, Caroline Paquita). Kern has been self-publishing since 1996 and formally started the press after purchasing her first Risograph stencil duplicator in 2009. The press has since published over 40 unique, affordable, and collectible editions—most of which are collaborations with fellow artists—to spread an artistic queer agenda to the masses in the format of artists books, limited edition prints, and related ephemera. Pegacorn Press titles are distributed, collected, and exhibited worldwide at a myriad of art book fairs and institutional collections.
