HAMBRE HAMBRE HAMBRE

HAMBRE HAMBRE HAMBRE

Pennsylvania

Lesbian publishing initiative that cooks each zine with a unique recipe. Since 2019, it has built community through art publishing and graphic activism in Santiago, Chile. With low-cost and sustainable editorial practices, HAMBRE publishes works by Latin American women and queer communities that blend intimate writing, graphic activism, and editorial experimentation.

Our catalogue explores desire, memory, labor, and emotion through a feminist and queer lens. With accessible and bilingual editions, they emphasize collaboration, handmade details, and the affective circulation. In 2025, HAMBRE was recognized with the Publisher Work Grant, awarded by Printed Matter with the support of the Wagner Foundation.
